I’ve seen folks do this at the airport, load up pockets with stuff so they don’t have to pay extra baggage fees. This guy made a coat dedicated to the notion.
It features 16 pockets and will hold up to 14 lbs of clothing accorisng to the manufacturer, but I bet a motivated SSD reader could double that, at least.
