This is a prototype of the new Carbine Bag from Vertx. Over the past couple of years, they’ve been working with Matt Jacques of Victory First to develop this line of EDC bags. Looks like they’ve got a hot with this one.
Look for it at SHOT show in booth #126.

Beautifully done, guys. Finally a low-profile bag that actually is!
Look, the second non-tactifool concealment bag in the new year! I’m impressed. Tired of ‘low profile’ bags which are anything but…
Looks very much like one of those old USAF garment bags.
That looks great! Any word on what size weapon will fit in that thing?
I see an LWRC PDW 8.5
Perfect for the Urban Assassin using a fancy short bolt gun.
Dang, I think Eric just warned me about this. Sorry.
You sir, are a comedian. Your new name is Joker.
Solid FMJ reference.
Outstanding… Or not, depending on how you look at it.
Legit. Airline camo garnish doesn’t hurt, either.
Here’s hoping for a sweet deal on ProMotive. Can’t wait to check this thing out. SIG 556 SBR should be a perfect fit!
I hope they make one that can put a TSA approved hard case inside, otherwise it looks nice, but doesn’t do me any good when I travel by air
Agreed. I am confused why there are airline tags when most (all?) require a locking case. I just flew nationally with my SBR in a Pelican case and when they gave it to me at baggage claim, all four latches were opened. My padlocks with the appropriate length shackle were all that was holding it shut.
It’s called camouflage.
Exactly what I am looking for. No exterior nolle, no camo, no skulls or flames. Just a nice looking, unsuspecring bag.
Now can I get one before my road trip next weekend??
This bag will fit a rifle up to 28″ overall length.
When is it ready so that I may spend money?
The bag looks great! I can’t wait to pick one up.
All,
The tags and name cards are all as Eric stated, camouflage. I recycle tags and replaceven them when they get trashed so it reinforces that to anyone out there, it is just a clothing bag.
When I travel with it on an airline, I stick it in a 3100 series Storm/Pelican and leave the rifle and my handgun on the top portion of the case leaving my clothes in the bag.
Or I have also have broken the rifle down into a smaller Storm/Pelican case and used the garment bag as a garment bag to let the airlines beat it up for me.
It was not built to fly with guns as a standalone, it was built to make a tweaker looking to steal your guitar case or tennis racket out of your car and pawn. You can’t pawn a suit to support your dope habbit.
(Well, I have never seen clothes in a pawn shop anyway).
Bags should be available in a month – 60 days from a VERTX dealer, or my website.
