SHOT Show 17 – Battle Arms Development

Last year, Battle Arms Development shared images of an AR that could be described as a work of art. The combination of wood and metal caused quite a reaction on the internet. At this year’s SHOT Show, they are showing a pre-production SBR in .300.

Aesthetically, I really like the combination of the Green Cerakote and Wood.  They plan to offer the furniture as stand alone pieces as well as a complete carbine. The wood on the forend and grip are Walnut while the cheekrest on the collapsible PDW stock is coated metal.

I’ve never dug wood furniture on the AR platform and maybe it’s just the lighting, but that does look pretty damn good.

Pics of this rifle or one very much like it have been floating around for a while with no info, assumed it was a custom build. Glad the furniture is going to be available, very cool retro- futuristic look.

I have an AR and to me you seen on you’ve seen them all…BUT this one makes me start thinking about what I need to sell to get it…these photos are not the best of it either, there are others on the net and it is sweet…
