I clicked on that uabiz.com link and found this on the front page.

“We at Under Armour are disappointed by the Administration’s decision to withdraw from the Paris Climate Agreement as climate change continues to threaten our planet, our cities and our economies. Climate change is real and must be taken seriously by our business community, our customers, our neighbors and our elected officials. Sustainability has always been part of our DNA: it’s integral to how we live and work and is essential to our environment. As a business leader concerned with creating American jobs, I disagree with the decision to exit the Paris Accord.

Our word matters and it is our collective responsibility to help protect Mother Earth.”

If I am wrong, please correct me, but isn’t UA’s main products produced in China, then sold to us for ridiculous markups? I am wearing underarmour shorts and underwear at this moment, I have drawers full of their stuff, but I don’t need to be lectured by them when they are taking advantage of China’s cheap labor and poor environmental standards then bash our commander in chief on an American first policy, while huge veteran, LEO and military communities buy their stuff in quantities.

I don’t want to hear anything political from someone who doesn’t practice what they preach. UA wants to save the environment? Then pay some American hippies to produce your polyester goods in an environmentally conscious fashion and still try to bring in your profit. If not, stick to making my socks and underwear and stay out of politics.

    Sorry for the rant SSD

You saw what you saw. I knew someone would and comment on it. The irony is not lost.

As a currently disappointed shareholder(something like -40% over the last year) I have to say that the environmental talk from UAA is BS. Their polyester and synthetic materials when throw out or dumped with garbage does not degrade. These synthetic materials are as bad as plastics.

Kevin Plank would be better off not saying anything at all. I also take issue with his sponsored athletes and Planks flip flopping on supporting Trump.

UA Tactical is like the red headed step-child of Under Armour. Neglected and would probably be doing better with a new set of legal guardians.

I was hoping to find an email address for the Plank bonehead so that I could send him a politely-worded, non-curse word-filled email. One that made my point clearly without being uncouth. Unfortunately it looks like he doesn’t have one publicly available to receive questions or concerns.
