An streamlined and updated version of the DG16, the DG3 comes with an internal frame or the external DG frame. The last time these were in stock, they flew off the shelves.
Key Features:
-Three rows of MOLLE on front panels
-Internal sleeves and ports integrate hydration reservoirs
-PRC117G capable internal removable pouch
-Zipper port for radio and antennae access
-Velcro on lid for identification and patches
-removable waist belt wings
-all critical buckles are easily field replaceable if damaged
-easy adaptability between DG external frame or internal sheet frame
Available in MultiCam, Coyote, and Ranger Green.
The webbing looks like a novel AMP variant. Pretty cool.
Looking forward to get my hands on this pack. Seems like there could be a new player in the league of high end backpacks.
The pack in the bottom pic looks more OCP than Multicam…
Do I have to separately purchase the frame? I checked the page and I’m not sure. The frame set’s price is similar to the DG3 and I don’t think the bag itself only costs $70 more.
G’day JJJ0309,
the DG3 comes with both the external frame and an a internal sheet frame ( for a smaller footprint). We will be going live with our US site and sales within the next week. Thank you for your enquire and sorry for the delay in reply
Is it a 1603 frame? Compatible with 1606?
Thanks for the answer!
Hey Guys:
This is an entirely new frame design. Crossfire makes two sizes, the smaller DG-3, and the larger DG-16. Think of them as external “shortback” and “longback” frames. Both are FILBE and ALICE compatible (and Molle compatible with slight mods). The DG-3 works for guys n gals with shorter torsos, or for those that want a shortback to integrate with jungle belt kit. The DG-16 is for taller folks, or for use as a longback with chest rigs, Both work well with PC’s because there is a complete hollow for the rear plate.
It comes in Multicam (not OCP), Coyote brown, and Ranger Green. We will have US website up and running most skosh.
This webbing is interesting. What is it?
