Reptilia – 30mm AUS Mount

Introducing the AUS Mount for 30mm diameter magnified optics, from Reptilia. Driven by the request of an end user group, the AUS Mount is the culmination of a 2 year development program. Like our DOT Mount line the AUS Mount attaches to any M1913 Picatinny rail via our anti-snag spring-loaded nitrided steel clamp and custom bolt mounting system which can be tightened with either a 5/32 hex or a flat blade driver to sit flush with the body of the mount for a low-profile, streamline design. Also like our DOT Mount line, the AUS mount is machined from a single piece of billet 7075-T6 aluminum and is finished with MIL-STD Type III, Class 2, hard anodize coating.

The AUS is compatible with all of our existing 30mm ROF line, and will be compatible with several new ROF products launching over the coming months.

Like all Reptilia products, the AUS Mount is 100% made in the USA and carries a full lifetime warranty against manufacturer defects. Additional heights and optic configurations coming soon!

Clear anodized AUS Mounts will be sold exclusively by Q at LiveQordie.com

    Clear knock-off of a Badger C1.

    • Alex says:

Which is a clear knock-off of the Geissele.
In all seriousness, Reptilia has done good work for some cool dudes. They know what they’re doing.

    • Gear Guy says:

When has the Badger C1 ever had a spine running between the rings or a mounting system like this? There are only so many ways to skin a cat, yet here you are claiming that they knocked off Badger, when this clearly owes its lineage to the foreign military customer that requested it and the Geissele mount, which actually owes its lineage to the Badger Recon mount. But then again, what would I know other than I have actually spoken with Reptilia about this mount at length, which you have not done, because it is easier to point the finger other than ask.

Who made the first 1.93 height mount?

Is everyone out there copying KAC, because they were the first one I saw, and before that it was guys using optics on riser (on risers) to get what they needed.

Does ARMS get the credit because the SIR had a built in riser which propped everything up?

At a certain point, items are going to look similar, and the devil will be in the details.

      • VictorMancini says:

Isn’t Larue the first to create the 1.93? They were working with MSG Robert Horrigan IIRC and sending him certain heights until they decided 1.93 cleared a PEQ on a 416.

  2. Marty gonna be mad says:

Badger has “PAT PENDING” marked on their C1.

Geissele ripped off Badger’s unimount scope mount design. The look and geometry is shamelessly close.

Reptilia ripped off Badger. Reptilia even commented yeserday on IG when asked whether the Badger C1 arms would fit “We tried to work with (Badger) to let us just sell their offset mounts and make them the same interface geometry but couldn’t get traction with them on the idea….”

Why would they give such a shameless copy any traction?

    • Stickman says:

If you read what you wrote, you may see how odd your comment is. I’m guessing you either misunderstood the context, don’t understand business, or aren’t imparting your vision clearly. However, I don’t think you are intentionally trolling, which is a nice clean removal from some of the “paid to attack” persons some clowns in the industry use.

Serious question for you, which company was the first to create a one piece mount? Which was the first to “offset”, or push it forward?
