Tardigrade Tactical – Infantry Low Profile Harness Pre-order

The Infantry Low Profile Harness is designed to be worn under a body armor system and help the operator to stabilize the belt during movement as well as distributing weight and is constructed from one piece of laser-cut Squadron Laminate – except the webbing – which makes it very thin and flexible. The laser-cut holes along the spine and shoulder pieces, allows for sweat and heat to pass through them, for a higher level of comfort.

For this pre-order we offer a 20% discount, already applied to the price in the shop.

The 80’s called…they want their ALICE gear back.

Sometimes I really miss ALICE. Belt kits are really the way to go for light, dismounted ops. Especially in the jungle. If one properly spreads the load out over the entire belt, it can be quite comfortable, stable and reduce shoulder strain.

Is this another ‘what is old is new again’? Wake the fuck up Army!

Classic load bearing harnesses never went away. In some armies due to lack lack of funds for those new fancy vests with or without armour plates. In others due to experience for example in jungle climates. And well nowadays some people’s first line looks like their father’s second line of equipment and is as heavy. Necessitating suspenders. So the load bearing harness moved to first line for some.

This looks pretty nice. My only concern is the huge back yoke. I’ve found these types of yokes to get very uncomfortable and sweaty, even in temperate climates.

Since it’s laser cut, I wonder if they could cut a simple “X” shaped piece that would still spread the load but not cause sweating?
