The next pack in the Mystery Ranch Special Blend series is the ASAP. These limited releases couple classic designs with special colorways and features.
This 18 liter pack features MR’s signature tri-zip opening. A smaller version of the classic 3-Day Assault Pack, the ASAP shares many of its features like PALS webbing, internal bottle pockets, a zippered pocket in the top flap and a Futura yoke and HDPE frame sheet. They’ve added a padded laptop sleeve.
Offered in Black w/MultiCam webbing and binding and Raven Lining, Black w/Black webbing and binding and Raven lining, and Navy w/Black webbing and binding and Raven lining.

Yeah, no, its ugly IMO. That black and Jacquard web combo is cringe. I don’t care what they want to charge. That’s an ugly combo of materials.

Glad this is made in Bozeman! I know it’s mildly taboo on SSD, but it always rubbed me the wrong way when MR was making military style 3 day packs in Vietnam. Good on them for sewing this shit in USA.
Those are for commercial sale. Not everyone is willing to pay for American quality. Hell, last time I put one of these up, people whined about the price.

Yup. Best not to tell people these are only in the middle of the price range for a pack. Packs for stuff that really matters can cost a hell of a lot more than these and are worth every cent.
That’s a great point. As a bag junky the $300 price point hardly phased me, and looking back it’s because that’s really about right smack dab in the middle of what it costs to get a truly MiUSA pack with quality materials. I’m sad it’s not more prevalent, but I’m glad the companies that manufacture here have decided to produce things at the highest levels.
