DLOC – PVS-14 Mount

US Tactical Supply is now offering Alamo Four Star, LLC’s PVS14 mount which allows you to instantly transition your NODS from helmet to weapon.

The mount quickly attaches the PVS14 monocular night vision system to any MIL-1913 rail system without throw levers or any tools yet allows the 14 to be mounted close to optics due to its unobtrusive design. Additionally, the mount does not interfere with helmet mounting. It also features a simple, one-handed, pincher-type attachment. Finally, while the mount comes standard for right hand use, it can be converted for left hand use.

True, but stuff like this isn’t intended for retail sale so the retail prices are high.

The only problem with mountings your NODS on your weapon is….trying to see your colleagues at night. Unless of course they don’t have a problem with you pointing a loaded M4 at them. Just sayin’

Sounds like a TTP issue to me

Not sure if this is the same Alamo Four Star that made the Deros tripods.. if it is, these guys are crooks.. you’ve been warned. (of course I am not referring to US Tactical Supply.. Just Alamo)

I have been using the TNVC mount for a few months now and it is amazingly effective and compact. Iam excited to see another product of this type on the market. I would like to see a T&E on this product. It looks like a good one.

Mounting NODS on the carbine is for passive night vision use. It is intended for specific operations. With that said this mount serves as a quick transition between weapon and helment, so operators can run passive for a critical shot and then go back to the helmet quickly.
