Platatac Spuhr Tropical Pack in New Camo Patterns

Platatac has introduced two new camouflage patters for their popular Spuhr Tropical Pack.

May I introduce ERDL and Rhodesian Brushstroke.

This pack features a 34L main compartment along a 8.29L second compartment as well as four 3.38L external pockets and a front flap zippered pocket. All told, you’re looking at around 56L of carrying capacity. Additionally, there’s a ventilated harness and internal frame.

The Spur Tropical in ERDL makes me want to ignore the fact that I found the frame rather uncomfortable. I like so much about this pack and wanted it to work. But it just didn’t for me.

Have you tried other frames with the pack?

      • PB says:

Not with this pack no. It’s frame is kind of integral. I don’t remember if it was removable or not. I just decided to go back to my ATS RAID for a 72 hour pack and sucking up the sweaty back. Better frame pack for heavier loads.

Love the stuff these guys do but that shipping gets me every time. I’ve been trying to catch a boonie at OP Tactical for a couple of years now.
