Whoa there. Before someone dies, let’s think about this. Unless this comes with a magic wand, direct pressure and compression will be needed for most combat wounds. Celox may assert that it “requires minimal-to-no compression”, but that must be for a very narrow context, and not for the majority of combat wounds. That said, the new size looks like a good idea, and no savvy well-trained combat medic is likely to use it inappropriately. However, many lay responders might get the wrong idea.
