Designed on a lead from a Japanese dealer, Spartan Blades came up with these Titanium, breakdown Chop Sticks. Titanium means hypoallergenic, and the cool factor is through the roof. Made up of 4 components, the tip, body, carbon fiber sleeve and cap. The carbon fiber sleeves can be swapped out but initially it will be offered with Black and Red Twill. Look for these in about 30 days.

Love my Snow Peak breakdown chopsticks, especially with the wood tips…metal or plastic tips seem like a good idea, until you have to actually feed yourself. Snow Peaks overtech is on the titanium tubes. Cases look similar….but they are doing the same thing, so why not. How Much?
Steve Kelly of SK Knives has been doing the same thing. I think he anodizes his for different color effects. The carbon fiber look is pretty cool though.
I have a set of titanium chopsticks with grooves at the tip for better grab. I wonder if carbidizing the ends would work?
