I recently had an opportunity to spend some time with Leupold and Knight’s Armament Corp during new product training for ADS Inc‘s SOCOM team at Spartan Ranch near Fort Worth, Texas. I’ve shown this photo to exhibit KAC’s new Improved 45 Degree 200-600m Offset Rear Sight. Naturally, several readers had a “Squirrel!” moment, asking for information on the cool bubble level. You asked and so shall you receive.
There’s really not a lot to say about the KAC Rail Mounted Anti-Cant Device. It does what it’s designed to do, assist the shooter in preventing rifle cant. It’s Mil-Std 1913 compatible and mounts directly to the rail behind and below the optic, securing with a flat tip bolt.
As you can see, they’ve eliminated any sharp edges.
Make sure you stop by Knight’s booth at SHOT Show to get a first hand look at the Anti-Cant Device as well as their other new products.

One of the funniest things about running SSD is that when an item is in a photo featured in a story about a completely different product, commenters post all kinds of stuff about it. But once you do an actual story on it? Crickets…
This is a product that screams put for a polymer variant to reduce cost and weight. It faces very little mechanical stress.
I like it.
Too bad my mad skillz behind the trigger don’t justify the cost of installing one of these. For the Shao Lin trigger squeezers….
i like it !
Any ideas on pricing yet?
Interesting. I wonder how much it will run. Add another booth to this must see at SHOT list.
Thanks for responding to the request on the product info!
Suggested tagline:
“It turns rifle CANT into rifle CAN!”
….I’ll be over here hiding my face in shame….
And that was my afternoon chuckle.
I’ve wanted a product like this for some time. Totally getting a few. Thanks SSD & KAC.
Similarly the Sphur ISM’s have an integrated level below the ocular. While I like the protection afforded to the location, I still wind up putting some manner of level up top (A1st, flatline, etc.) as I find it easier, quicker to check with minimal impact on my position.
10 points if you see it on an SBR with a no-magnification optic. Before you stands a gearwhore (always outnumbered never outgeared) to the max.
Sorry for asking… which gloves are those?
Under Armor Tactical Duty Gloves
Thanks!
