The ONE suppressor from GEMTECH is the suppressor world’s new go-to can for any application. Use it on everything from your .300BLK carbine to 5.56 SBR and on up to 300WM; it’s the only silencer you’re going to need for your centerfire rifle. Yeah. From 5.56 to 300WM. How’s that for functionality?
The ONE is an “Extreme Duty” silencer, full auto rated on 5.56mm as short as 7.5” barrels. Length is a tight 7.5” with a diameter of 1.625 including shroud (so, not much girth). Weighing in at just a smidge over a pound, built of Titanium and Inconel with an interchangeable QD mount or thread mount option and high temp black Cerakote finish, this suppressor is rated for 300 Win Mag on 24” or longer barrels. Its slim profile is about the same diameter or smaller than everything else in its class, which should make everyone happy.
If GEMTECH doesn’t have a can that suits your needs, you’re probably reliving the Civil War or trying to knock out an IFV. The Latka-Dater tradition continues.

I wonder about the 32db reduction rating listed on their site. What caliber is that rating measured with at what barrel length?
Seems unlikely it would be a straight 32db reduction across so many lengths and calibers.
I imagine they tested with a 30 cal. Smaller caliber rounds would leave more room for gas to escape and probably reduce efficiency.
Not picking on you but that is exactly my point. The can is being presented as a one ring to rule them all kind of deal and the website just lists specs at 32DB reduction.
Unlikely to have same reduction results across all platforms. If its not efficient across all platforms then what really makes this can different then just being a smaller 300 Win mag can that they will make adapters to fit smaller caliber rifles.
I’m not being critical of the can, I in fact hope that they have made some breakthrough in suppressor can/baffle design that would allow a large hole can to have similar efficiency across the board.
This is EXACTLY what I’ve been hoping for. I love my Halo, but I’m ready for a spectrum suppressor that can cover everything. See you guys at SHOT Show!
Silencerco announced something similar, and it appears to use the same replaceable back end that the Saker cans use.
A unicorn? When did Gemtech start selling Democracy and other things that don’t exist. The science of building suppressors has not changed drastically since Maxim, allowing QD options, size and weight, and their is no “one size fits all” in the reality. As mentioned already, the db would differiniate between calibers, barrel size – not counting the baffle design in itself. Which leaves me wondering, baffle-less can? Only way I can account for volume size to substantiate all the calibers you can fit into “ONE” design. Than again, it is easy to sell something like this when everyone is vying for subsonic ammo right now for “movie like” farts. Not hating on Gemtech, but would love to see some real time test/analysis results to substantiate their claim.

Heres my idea, drop the one to $995 to stay below the $1k sticker shock, drop the dagger and all the GMT line by 10% because that news alone would easily push fence riders off the fence to get the suppressor they have been wanting to get for years. “Get them now before the price goes up again.” then jump back to the top of the pack of companies out there clamoring for the market leader position. IMHO.
