Gorilla Ammunition Raises $25,000 For The National Navy SEAL Museum

Gorilla Ammunition with Quail Valley River Club hosted a dinner and auction to raise money for the National Navy SEAL Museum

Vero Beach, FL, – April 22, 2015 – Gorilla Ammunition, a manufacturer of high quality modern sporting rifle ammunition, partnered with Quail Valley River Club to conducted a raising event for the National Navy SEAL Museum resulting in a donation of $25,000 to the museum.

“We are very lucky to have the Navy SEAL Museum and Memorial in our backyard here in Vero Beach, FL. When I found out that our National Navy SEAL Museum and SEAL Memorial receive absolutely zero funding from the U.S. Government, I thought to myself we have to help these guys. We just thought our company should try and give back a little to help remind everyone of those who risk their lives to defend our freedom. Thanks to the support of Quail Valley River Club, our friends in the firearms industry, and very generous attendees, we feel like we had a successful first annual event.” said Gorilla Ammunition’s CEO Lanse Padgett.

The ground upon which the National Navy UDT-SEAL Museum rests in Fort Pierce, Florida is recognized as the birthplace of the U. S. Navy Frogmen. From 1943 to 1946, thousands of brave volunteers were trained as members of Naval Combat Demolition Units and Underwater Demolition Teams. The World War II Frogmen have evolved into the most elite fighting force in the world, the U. S. Navy SEALs. The Mission of the Museum is to preserve the legacy and history of these “Teams”.

The National Navy UDT-SEAL Museum was formally dedicated in November of 1985. Since that time a continuous stream of history and artifacts has returned home to Ft. Pierce. The exterior exhibits include Apollo training crafts, a Vietnam-era ”Huey” helicopter, and unique water craft and support boats. Some of the last remaining beach obstacles used for training during World War II have been recovered from the ocean depths and now rest on the museum grounds.
“We appreciate Lanse, Gorilla Ammunition, and Quail Valley Charities for hosting this great event. We are so pleased with the turn out and results of the event and cannot wait to put the funds to use in improving our facilities and continue to pay tribute to our nation’s most elite warfighters” said Rick Kaiser, Executive Director of the National Navy SEAL Museum

Gorilla Ammunition is a manufacturer of high quality modern sporting rifle ammunition and dominates the 300 Blackout ammunition category. All of Gorilla Ammunition modern sporting rifle ammunition offerings are capable of Sub-MOA accuracy and have standard deviations in muzzle velocity of less that 15 feet per second. Gorilla Ammunition’s industry leading performance and quality control has helped them grow rapidly in a very competitive market.

Task Force Dagger Foundation – Dagger Dive 2015

Sunday, April 26th, 2015

MATBOCK has produced a ‘Whiskey 5’ to explain an upcoming Recreational Therapy Event being held by Task Force Dagger:

1. WHO: Task Force Dagger Foundation

2. WHAT/WHERE/WHEN: Conducts a Recreational Therapy Event in Key West, FL from 16-24 June

image1

3. WHY: TF Dagger sponsors activities that foster a sense of well-being, offer encouragement, and assist the service member’s rehabilitation and recovery from wounds/injuries sustained while serving our country. One of our core beliefs is that if the soldier is injured, the whole family is injured and must heal together. Teamwork is more than being on a Special Forces Team, it is being part of a family that is stronger together. As such, when we conduct an RTE, we bring the whole family and include the whole family in the activities. Our activities include Scuba, 3 Gun shooting events, Outdoor activities such as white water rafting, fishing, sailing, horseback riding, skiing, and snowmobiling.

The hard cost for the event is $115k and they need to secure the money by 8 May for the mission to be a success. Each donor will still get a storyboard for their donation. MATBOCK is asking for everyone to join together and help us make this event a success and give back to these awesome families.
