The Combat Control Association has set up a campaign on crowdfunding site YouCaring to assist Mrs. Rose (Duffman) Duval in her planning of a cermony to honor all Air Force Pararescuemen and Combat Controllers who have been Killed-In-Action since 9/11; among those to be honored is Mrs. Duval’s son, Tech. Sgt. Scott E Duffman, a PJ killed February 18th, 2007.

The ceremony will consist of the presentation of 22 specially made and personalized “Honor and Remember” flags to be presented to Gold Star family members on Friday, October 10th, 2014 at 1000 at the Air Force Memorial. Each flag was personally purchased by Mrs. Duval. A reception will also be hosted at the Ft. Meyer Officer’s Club.

The goal of the campaign is to raise the funds to pay for the reception, repay Mrs. Duval at least part of the money she paid for the flags, and cover some travel and lodging costs of the Gold Star family members who would otherwise be unable to attend.
