Proceeds benefit the Special Operations Warrior Foundation and other military charities.

Eagle Claw Veteran Awarded Bull Simons Award
Sunday, June 16th, 2013Late last week I received this from a longtime friend and industry member named Angie. It is about her father, Fred. He is a great American, and a true hero. His life’s work doesn’t pivot on just one day and one act. In fact, I don’t think we’ll ever here an inkling of the things he has done. He has a lifetime of doing great things. His daughter thinks so too. She’s very proud of her dad and rightly so. Today is Fathers Day and I can’t think of a more fitting tribute to dads out there than publishing this story about Fred Arooji and how he was recently honored by the SOF community by being awarded the Bull Simons Award. We all strive to be a hero in our kids’ eyes. Here’s a man who is a hero in every sense of the word.
Take a few minutes to read this excerpt from the June, 2013 issue of “Tip of the Spear” to get a small taste of the man that is CW5 Fred Arooji (USA, Ret). And, if you don’t know who COL Arthur ‘Bull” Simons is either, I’ve included a little about him.

2014 Hot Shots Model Countdown – Lucy Pinder
Saturday, June 8th, 2013Lucy Pinder is back for the 2014 Hot Shots Calendar! Remember, 50% of proceeds from the sales of these calendars support various UK and US military charities including Help for Heroes and the Special Operations Warrior Foundation. In addition, Hot Shots offers other morale items like T-shirts, playing cards, and badges. The models also donate their time by regularly visiting the troops.
