JOB DESCRIPTION

The Under Armour Tactical Regional Sales Manager (RSM) wins, maintains, and expands sales and relationships with the professional operator community, focusing on federal, state and local law enforcement and first responders. The Tactical RSM will manage and over-see Premier UA Tactical Accounts based on geography while establishing, growing and closing a sales pipeline with end-users. The Tactical RSM is overall responsible for achieving sales, profitability, and new customer acquisition objectives in their territory.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer base.

• Uses his/her existing contacts and networks with end-users and purchasing agents to secure system wins within of Under Armour products.

• Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned partner accounts.

• Manages the sales process from qualification through closure, to include coordination of bids through resellers.

• Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates partner needs on an ongoing basis.

• Proactively demonstrates new products to existing customers to encourage upgrade and recurring business to Under Armour.

• Conduct joint sales calls with resellers to enable their sales ability and further advocate Under Armour products independently

• Sells through partner organizations to end users in coordination with partner sales resources.

• Manages potential channel conflict across key UA Tactical accounts

• 50% travel expected

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university or equivalent work experience

• Minimum of five (5) years combined experience in selling to law enforcement departments, first responders and the US Military.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Comprehensive understanding and experience with the government procurement process

• Experience successfully developing and closing opportunities with federal, state, local law enforcement and first responders

• Can demonstrate a high-degree of organization to manage many opportunities simultaneously

• Prior experience as a law enforcement officer or military is a plus

• CRM experience

Ability to travel up to 50% or more of the time both domestic and international

Strive to obtain BLACKHAWK! and Eagle brands on bid lists and develop strategies for BLACKHAWK! and Eagle brands to become a bidder on all RFQ’s

Provide support to program managers and report due diligence, contacts of new business development and alliance development projects while focusing on all key accounts

Senior Leadership or Instructor experience preferred

Education/Experience:

Responsibilities:

1. Manage dealer accounts in your assigned territory to drive revenue for FALKOR Defense and provide top tier customer service to your assigned accounts through emails and sales calls

2. Ensure all customers’ purchase orders are scheduled and entered accurately and timely.

3. Identify potential new customers and develop leads

4. Respond immediately to requests from customers for information

5. Engage in technical discussions regarding the FALKOR Defense product line with

potential customers

6. Conduct dealer training on the FALKOR Defense product line

7. Keep Sales Manager informed of all activity and daily progress

8. Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

9. Other responsibilities as directed by the Sales Manager

Requirements:

1. Strong oral and written communication skills

2. Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooks proficiency

3. Technical knowledge of firearms, ability to learn details of the FALKOR product line

4. Prior B2B sales experience preferred, but not required

5. Self-motivated, goal-oriented attitude, able to work in a competitive team atmosphere

Military Sales Manager

The Military Sales Manager is a member of the Daniel Defense military and law enforcement sales team, responsible for all sales to U.S. Department of Defense entities, other related government agencies, and defense contractors.  The successful candidate will maintain relationships with U.S. military customers and understand the U.S. Government procurement processes. This position requires a self-motivated individual who possesses excellent decision making skills.

Job Responsibilities:

·     Manage relationships with all U.S. Department of  Defense branches

·     Develop a strong sales business plan

·     Create and track sales opportunities

·     Conduct face to face meetings with customers

·     Organize product demonstrations

·     Understand  how Daniel Defense products work and how to troubleshoot issues with customers

·     Prepare and submit weekly sales reports

·     Travel to trade shows and related events (travel approximately 35% of year)

Qualifications:

·     Minimum 3 years of experience in a role relating to government procurement

·     Bachelor’s degree preferred

·     Military experience in contracting or requirements development is a plus

·     Proven ability to maintain business relationships

·     Excellent understanding of firearm safety and function

Required Job Skills:

·     Ability to develop new relationships with potential customers

·     Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
