Please Support AmericanSnipers.org

Friday, April 28th, 2017

Since 2003, AmericanSnipers.org has been providing specialized equipment support to military sniper teams. While they sponsor the occassional raffle, much of their funding comes from direct donations. In years past, they would raise quite a bit of money at SHOT Show through the sales of coins, patches and other memorabilia, but SHOT Show has stopped the practice. There’s essentially no overhead with this 501(c)3 Nonprofit with donations used to buy the gear the guys need. Now, with donations down, members of the organization are dipping into their own pockets to support units. Soon, AS.org may have to do something it’s never done before, and that’s say, “No” to a unit requesting help.  Please, help out.  Check out the website for multiple ways to support this fine organization.

GAOS – AmericanSnipers.org

Thursday, February 9th, 2017

I stopped by the AmericanSnipers.org booth in order to see how things were going and to pick up a 2017 coin.

As you can see, it features a Viking shield at the front and a Sniper atop skulls at the rear.  It’s a hefty piece which will take a cord such as the length of 550 seen here.  Additionally, the edge is inscribed with a motivational saying made famous in an earlier coin.

If you’re attending GAOS be sure to stop by booth #404 in the shooting sports hall. Otherwise, get your AS swag at www.americansnipers.org.  Proceeds benefit US military Sniper teams with much needed mission equipment.

Great American Outdoor Show – AmericanSnipers.org

Tuesday, February 9th, 2016

If you are going to attend the show, be sure to find the AmericanSnipers.org booth at #4523. There, you can pick up the axehead 2016 challenge coin as well as purchase a ticket for their latest Raffle. SHOT Show no longer allows them to seek anything in the show floor and it was a major source of fundraising for the year. Shows like this are critical for them to keep their program of providing sniper units with material support.

If you’re not going to be at the show, you can still help. Visit www.americansnipers.org to purchase yours.

AmericanSnipers.org Turns It Up To 11

Monday, January 5th, 2015

AmericanSnipers.org has long been known for their innovative challenge coin designs which are used to raise funds for their cause. This year, they’ve turned it up to 11.

The design on the left is the 2015 coin and the two on the right are beads based on their two most popular designs. They’ll go on sale initially at this month’s SHOT Show and thereafter be offered on AmericanSnipers.org.
