The new Citizen Eco-Drive Proximity is not only solar powered but it also connects via Bluetooth to your iPhone. The point of the system is that it has small indicators on the face and the second hand swings to one of them to indicate that there is something on your iPhone that needs attention, for example a message or meeting. the advantage is that you can leave your phone in your bag or pocket and still be notified by your phone even when it is silent.
