Designed for the competition market in mind, Walther’s Q5 Match is a steel frame pistol based on the PPQ design. It sports a 5″ barrel housed within a ported slide, the later of which comes with front and rear cocking serrations, competition iron sights (red fiber optic front/adjustable target rear), and an optics cut with mounting plates for the Trijicon RMR, Leupold Delta Point, and Docter Optics.

    Walther Welcomes Luke Thorkildsen as Vice President of Marketing and Product Development

    Originally from Texas, Luke Thorkildsen holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Entrepreneurial Business and Strategic Management from the University of North Texas. Before joining Walther, Luke had a distinguished career in the outdoor industry serving with the iconic companies of Coleman and Bear Archery. At Bear, Luke led a new projects team that focused on entering a new category and developing a new line of crossbows focused on fit, feel, and balance. Under Luke’s leadership the team researched, planned and developed ground breaking new products protected by multiple new patents. At Coleman Luke held the positions of Global Director of Product Development for Battery Lighting and Global Category Manager. He led teams in the development of multiple new successful product lines.

    Walther’s Slim 9mm Meets Comfort With The New PPS M2

    (FORT SMITH, Ark.) – New to the Walther line of personal protection pistols is the PPS M2, an innovative new 9mm pistol that sets the bar for ergonomics and comfort for concealed carry. The new PPS M2 is engineered for the concealed carry shooter looking for a slim 9mm that provides superior concealability while maintaining comfort and accuracy. The new PPS M2 is built to carry, measuring in at 1 inch wide, low profile and smooth features. This coupled with a new push button style magazine release for easy operation, highlights some of the changes from the Classic PPS to the new M2.

    The new PPS M2 is equipped with a smooth, light 6.1 lb trigger pull, which improves control and accuracy.
