    I use the FR-ACU-P in OCP (MultiCam) everyday here in RC-East. The ACU is not very durable, but the Massif Army Combat Shirt (ACS) is. If only we could get the winter version in OCP and issued. Hell, we can’t get replacement ACSs if we wanted to. Come to thing about it, the most common sizes of our uniform trousers are constantly on back order. Oh well, sucks to be us!

    As a civvie, I am not upgrading my field kit to FR…but if I was, Massif would be one of the company’s whose products I would lend serious consideration…they do FR well.

    I use it when deployed. (driving boats is like convoy in a convertable) and in the winter, make a decent warming layer I reckon.

    Yes, I use FR clothing, (coveralls, gloves, hardhat liners, etc.), EVERYDAY at work. Actually, nights, as I work 7pm to 7am 😉
    I work in the oilpatch.

    I have Nomex gear that has been very useful in the past, but FR is not the first thing I look for in a purchase.

    FR-Yes, absolutely. A mixture of Drifire, Massif, multicam FROG from Propper, and a bit of old-school heavy weight NOMEX.
