Ah so here’s the fabled tiger stripe the Air Force was supposed to be getting prior to the ABU.
I like it!
Multicammed Tigerstripe
Wait for the lawsuit to be launched by Hyperstealth against Tiger Stripe and Atlanco for violation of the copyright on Ghostex Kilo-1.
I was thinking the same thing.
That won’t be too far off thats for sure.
hahaha, I was thinking that too.
If the contrast against the backdrop while viewing the thumbnail on my phone is any indication (overall far too light and the darker are too angular and too dark), this is just another fashion pattern. I bet it would look better faded and dirty.
Hmm… Multi-Tiger.
How many MultiCam derivatives/competitors does the world need? Their Woodland Tiger would have been more interesting to see.
I wonder if this family (including the woodland an tiger 2) are still in contention for the army’s new camo patterns. Looks cool, everyone loves multicam and this is at leadt a fairly unique multicam type pattern…seems like a winner to me.
Coming from a current USAF member, if this pattern works as well as multicam, and integrates with all the current gear in production (as the ABU and ACU did), then I’m all for making this the official USAF uniform… But make it THE uniform, both stateside and deployed. And ditch the ugly green boots.
That being said, I’d still prefer all the services to wear one uniform across the board.
Totally the green boots are just ugly, after when this camo issue is solved we should rally to get black boots back. PS its nice to know you guys held on to the BDU the longest.
So only the smaller strokes are solid this time?
By no means surprising, yet quite interesting.
Obviously inspired by multicam, but looks functional. The USAF should get on this pattern. Actually no, they should copy exactly whatever the Army buys next.
Or they can just use what the army has. Big Army isn’t as stingy as the Corps is.
This is really ugly. The regular digital tiger stripe pattern of the ABU but in Multi-cam colors would be way better.
I do really agree with you about the ugliness. This is just a brushed up of their Desert Tiger and a lillte spray on green color just to looked attractive as Multicam. Very upset that TSP holds copyright/patent whatsoever of the Tigerstripe pattern, they never improve their product for the market even there are still plenty of room to do. I doubt that are they really the inventor of the pattern( beside the tale of the French Lizard pattern).
