German boot manufacturer has unveiled a Sage Green version of the popular Zephyr mid after requests from the USAF PJ community. Starting Spring, it will be available exclusively from AFMO with a full 8″ following later in the year along with more wide spread availability.

That Others May Wear Comfy Boots
Mine Zephyrs lasted too short for comfort, it wasn’t even a full 12 months and it wasn’t even use that should wear a sneaker. While I like the design and comfort was OK, I got back to Meindl ever since.
The worst part of going to sage green boots for me was not being able to wear Lowa boots outside the AOR anymore. I am counting the minutes until these come available.
It may be the lighting but they look more tan on the top to me. Either way, I’ll be waiting for these to come out, my old Rockys need replacing(as comfortable as they are, have almost no tred on the bottom anymore) Finally another pair of boots I would be glad to wear, I was begining to think there was only 1 pair I could be happy to wear.
May prove quite popular in the UK too. If ‘rumours’ are to be believed our boots are going to be sage green or as near as dammit – although it’s being called brown. Wait out.
