SOFIC – ArmorWorks Protective Combat Shirt

ArmorWorks has applied lessons from the Protective Under Garment program to a Combat Shirt. The green panels (contrasted for effect) are aramid and help mitigate injuries. Also, note the under sleeve.

So are there outer sleeves and inner sleeves? I looks like the outer sleeve is rolled/pushed up to show the inner sleeve, is that right?

What is the lighter panel fabric?

  2. SSD says:

Yes you are correct. That is a FR fabric

These guys are really coming out with some cool stuff. If you see them again, could you ask them for a consumer level part of their web site. It’s really pretty but has almost no content.

Don’t get me wrong – looks great – BUT my only problem (personal preference) with a lot of combat/tactical shirts today is they have two or three colors, plus camo. I’d like to see more solid-color/two-color shirts.

That way I feel it’d be more acceptable to wear in the civilian world.
