If you’re still on the fence about getting one of the Limited Edition Arcteryx MultiCam Atom SVs, this video footage from Tactical Distributors should help you make up your mind. Granted, it’s MultiCam so it’s a bit of a specialist piece but that’s the point, isn’t it?
It’s a great insulator and packs up quite small. There are also a couple of cool improvements over existing civilian models like a hood adjustment as well as an internal band collar.

Guess mine is old.
You might also have the Atom LT. It’s a bit thinner and has no such features.
I actually just bought the civvy version in “Nightshade”, as us CF members can’t get away with the multicam and try and I was worried I wouldn’t be so keen to reach for the jacket for regular use.
That said, the nightshade is very close to the Wolf and the lining is a much darker red than it appears online. Also, they’ve now integrated the band collar and adjustable hood as well.
I’d say my biggest disappointment is the inability to add morale patches!! However, words cannot describe how functional, warm and packable this piece is
I have this exact model and you summed up my impressions perfectly! It so amazingly warm. 5 minutes after putting it own it feels like you are sitting in a blast furnace. Super warm while not making you look lik the michelin man. And Nightshade is an awesome colour combo.

TD’s shipping service is incredible! I order them on Wednesday and I got them Today! Within 24 hours it’s on my desk! Light weight and really warm…it goes well with Alpha parka.. if you not order one yet you better hurry up! Once it’s gone it’s gone! Don’t forget to order your TD 2 horses patch! After I saw this video I realize I FORGOT to order the patch!
The size is right spot on like LEAF’s sizing..(maybe a little bit bigger but not much)
it looks the TD “MODEL” wearing a size Small…now it’s all gone….luckily I got one for my friend!
Too bad TD screwed the pooch for me. I had one on order and it would’ve shipped yesterday, but a bad experience is a bad experience. I am impressed with the video though.
