Warrior West – Gerber

I’ve written about most of Gerber’s new products but as I per used their wares, something caught my eye. It was a lock blade knife with a drop point sheeps foot blade. It was kind of funny. At first they were like, “You’re interested in this old thing?” But then one of the the guys thought about it and related, “ya know, that knife has been around a long time and it’s got a great price. In fact, I’ve been carrying one since I was a kid.”

Almost a modified Wharncliffe style blade. Great working shape, especially if your job requires a lot of slicing type cuts (opening packages, boxes, etc.). Just because it’s been in the line a while doesn’t mean it doesn’t work; matter of fact, it still being there oughta tell them something.

My unit has these in stock and with such a cheap price issues them on request. Not an Ideal knife for everything but sharp and holds an edge very well. Couldnt ask for a better EDC knife for free.
