Here you can see the Mayflower UW Gen V Chest Rig and the Velocity Systems Overwhites, both in Kryptek Yeti.

How about coming up with PALS backed panels that can be added too existing pouches, and packs that are in a winter camp.. OK, I came up with this idea, so noe one steal it from me..

I think a pack cover would be a great idea.

Coming from a place where it snows a bit more then a quarter of the year its great to see companies like Mayflower, Velocity Systems and Vertx coming out with winter gear.

    Keep up the great work.

It’s great that dedicated high-quality winter kit is available. Too often it seems that all the interest is in gear suited for the current confict areas, which leaves the military badly prepared for the next war. (Recall woodland kit in Desert (pun) Storm.)

That said, I’m suspisious about how well ‘Yeti’ actually works. The great camo selection program of the Army did not involve snow camo evaluation. To me it seemst that Yeti would look solid light grey (isoluminence) at even pretty close distances, but I sure didn’t evaluate it either.

Btw, I’ve tried Pencott’s ‘Snowdrift’ in conditions similar to the ones in the linked picture, and while not doing anything like real evaluation, it is obvious to me that Snowdrift performs way worse than the much simpler m05 shown in the picture.
