SHOT Show – Benchmade

The new Benchmade 940-1 Osborne aXIS will be available in April. It is the first knife in the 940 series to feature S90V steel. It also incorporates machined carbon fiber handles, blue anodized barrel spacers making for a lighter version of the standard 940. You may notice the name includes AXIS and this is because it uses the AXIS lock, an ambidextrous, easy-to-use locking mechanism for the blade. The blade is 3.4″ with an overall length of 7.87″ and 2.4 oz.

    My favorite BM knife by far is the 940 so you can bet I’m gonna start saving now for April

    I really like 940s. Wonder why they went for the S90V. You don’t really see that steel around much anymore.
