Spuhr 417 Lower

Hakan Spuhr is at it again. This time, he’s made some changes to the H&K 417 lower.

Spuhr 417 lower

Available in both semi and full auto models. Uses standard SR25/Magpul mags and incorporates an ambi mag release. It’s got an integrated sling attachment point as well as non-rotating hammer and trigger pins. Additionally, Hakan has incorporated his spuhrinterface so attachments can be added. For example, Hakan suggest brass catcher, cosine indicator, a holder for extra magazines.

What do you think?

Just read about this interface. The creator has made it open source so any maker that wants to adopt it can do so. He’ll even send drawings, diagrams and tooling if necessary. Wow. Maybe keymod and m-lok are the same way but at what cost? I’d love to see more makers with a well thought out product rewarded by having their designs adopted. Well done sir and great design philosophy.

It’s Hakan! He knows what to do and how to do it. I should get his G36 magwell adapter.

I run his scope mounts, like his products, well executed.

  4. Sphur stuff is top shelf – I use his scope mounts on many of my long guns and they are superb

Håkan is a real innovator. Can’t wait to have his accessory rings for Leupold’s Spotter Scopes.

  6. Been using his scope mounts since day 1 he offered them and sold quite a bit of them for good reason. His 40mm Grenade Launcher is also a thing of beauty as well in a few Mil arena’s.
