Vickers Tactical – H&K VP9 Review

  1. I have to agree with LAV when he says that overall the trigger on the VP9 is better than the PPQ. The PPQ’s reset point is shorter than the VP9, but the PPQ has a much more noticeable travel and mine, at least, has a grittiness and sponginess to it.

    I’m not sure I’d call LAV’s 4:00 minute review “in depth” though, but a good first start at a more in depth analysis.

    The SR9c trigger is nice out of the box.
    With HKs, I do need to use your shooting hand to work the release.

    Having put only 100 rounds through my ranges rental, its kind of hard to 100% tell. But initial impressions are good. Not as snappy as say a Sig P226, but definitely not as controllable as a Glock 17.
