Attention all TAD Addicts, they are releasing the SERE Pouch 1 during tomorrow’s drop at 0900 PST.
The SERE Pouch 1 (SP1) is a micro tool roll engineered to provide secure and rapid access to survival, evasion, resistance and escape tools. Using vertical and horizontal compression, small tools can be secured into 5 flexible compartments or a removable micro sheath. They will offer a stand alone pouch or a loaded out version with essential E&E tools.
Deployment Scenarios
The SP1 is capable of providing a secure mobile workspace while still being instantly removable.
-The SP1’s vertical lashing strap is MOLLE compatible, able to be woven through a single column of PALS before being secured around the body of the pouch via an ITW G-Hook.
-To access the contents, unhook the G-Hook, pull down on the horizontal compression strap and unfold the SP1. The pouch will remain attached to the PALS platform in this open position, providing a mobile workspace to contain and organize small tools during use.
-The SP1 may be rapidly detached by unhooking the G-Hook and firmly pulling the pouch away from the PALS webbing.

It looks promising but I dont know how I’d cram that up my
Nice, TAD is doing some great stuff lately!
so it is standard serepick stuff (which is great) in a TAD pouch? Seriously? Am I missing something that the pouch adds? Or is the point of this package as bragging goods for showing off instead of actual SERE use?
This pouch does what a pouch is designed to do, hold items. Customers of both sere pick and TAD have requested numerous times from triple aught, a pouch that holds these specific items.
Ah, it’s for cosplay. Thanks for the heads up.
^^^^^^^LOL
Let’s be clear, if you are carrying this pouch and its contents in a NPE, you won’t be doing any “escaping” or “surviving” with it because you will be shot as a spy. This is for the CONUS EDC crowd or pentesters who are into lock picking and the like. SERE is just bait
In NC it’s possession of burglars tools. The product presentation is still nice, the legality etc will vary from place to place.
The complete lack of utility for pouches like this is why the OSS/SOE produced so many “Instructors Kits” of E&E gear in pouches and tool-rolls, and dropped them into occupied Europe.
There is a time and a place for this type of containment. It is NOT for carry in the field for use, absolutely. That doesn’t negate the value; You just have to be contextually appropriate.
If you were attired head to toe in TAD clothing (to include the skivvies with the HC key/pill pocket) you’d have all the hidden pockets you’d need. Of course, if you were attired head to toe in TAD clothing you’d have a tail assigned if you cleared customs.
Interesting. Maybe a bit bulky considering the contents.
I’ve had one for 4 years
I can assure you haven’t had this pouch for 4 years.
Whatever you do have, though, isn’t the TAD SERE pouch 1.
Mine goes to 11
They have been shown on Red Teams blogs years ago. I got mine off ebay over a year ago by a gentleman who produces them in different material colours. I believe Jcrist, it isn’t a new pouch.
Honestly, when is TAD going to make things in a quantity that doesn’t sell out before some people are done working their shift.
