I wonder if Mr. Decker is pictured there.
I’m super curious what all he has on his resume…
I remember him using a snickers to explainglaciers to us on Gulkana.
He was, as far as I know, last assigned either at 1/17 or 2/1 and then got a job at NWTC. Either way, the guy is a legend, a human billygoat in every sense.
Here is a 2012 video of Decker speaking about how he landed at NWTC at the foot of Mt. McKinley…

Thanks! And what the f*** happened to Mr. Decker’s sweet rat tail??
The North Face Mountain jacket (1985 model, yellow), Koflach mountaineering boots (at least, two guys, one with flag an another next to him)
Some of them are also wearing the Koflach Military Double boots as well.
O.M.G. Hands in the pockets.
I’d like too see someone climb up there and chump him out on it.
They would be laughed at heartily and cast from Valhalla
Army gloves!
Are those ERDL or RDF woodland uniforms mixed in with BDUs?
They might be the older ripstop cammies some units wore before the appearance of the Elvis collar BDUs.
Is that an M65?
That is McKinley’s summit?
No rocks on Summit of McKinley, way under dressed.
It’s not at the summit.
Having been there twice, other than atop the West Butt, not a lot of rocks showing……………………………………….
Mustache, porn star, type, one each.
The Noshitsatall is strong with this group…
As someone who was at NWTC in August of 2015, Mr. Decker is still there, when I went through BMMC (now BMC), in 2010 he still used the Snickers to explain Glaciers. While Mr. Decker oversees the equipment and BMMC courses, Karl oversees the ACC course.
