IWA – TAT3D Sharp Grip Knife

This is a Picatinny compatible vertical foregrip that contains a knife. Offered by TAT3D, the Sharp Grip Knife is considered a last ditch weapon that will stay with your rifle.

As you can see, it’s offered in quite a few configurations including an angled grip as well as a non-metallic blade.

    That angled grip…

Can’t even fathom why you wouldn’t simply carry a knife on your person. Any situation that might rob you of a blade would definitely not let you keep a rifle on you.

  4. P.J. says:

Did everyone quit carrying knives in there person and I missed the memo?

      HAHAHAHA RIGHT!?!

    • Riceball says:

I don’t know about, I certainly wouldn’t want to carry a knife in my person, that sounds rather painful, now carrying it on my person is a different matter entirely.

      • P.J. says:

Frankly it’s the best way to conceal a knife lol.
This is what I get for typing on my phone quickly.

    Six degrees of retarded.

Just because it has a pic rail or a MOLLE loop doesn’t mean you have to slap something on it.

SSD, this post smells like bait for your “naughty list”. 🙂

  7. SN says:

    New meaning to knife hand.

Sometimes we engineer stuff for non-existent problems, I believe this is one of those times.

  8. BillC says:

There’s a reason why things like this don’t exist anymore,

That retarded thing was the first thing that sprang to mind when I saw this article.

  9. Riceball says:

I’m betting that these will be illegal in CA and definitely a no no to put on your rifle because after you go around shooting people you might then go and stab some more people with the knife. Either that or the antis will suggest that it will somehow make your rifle more accurate, shoot faster, and allow you to hold more ammo.

I like how there is a nonmetallic blade option. That is extremely helpful when the vast majority of things with rails are decidedly magnetic.

If you absolutely must have a knife with your rifle for some odd reason tell me why a swiss army knife inside the pistol grip doesn’t beat this idea 100x over? I dont want to fight with a SAK but I dont want to fight with a knife at all. It looks like that one has to be unbolted from the rail first too.

  12. Lasse says:

Does this count as a bayonet or assault knife?

  13. phil says:

oh, i don’t know. Add more than one and you could end up with a pretty intimidating looking Mace, certainly something that could come in handy if a magflip doesn’t work out. Pistol-swords, and Pistol-axes have a long and distinguished history. Myself, i’ll wait for the Scottish Claymore with bayonet mount, as it would look better with my kilt.

    WTF category.

  16. mark says:

Well, to their credit they at least had the good taste to use M390 blade steel.

Still prefer the spiked brass knuckle foregrip for sheer absurdity factor:

    For what purpose?

  18. Kurt says:

I would totally buy one of these and go make a YouTube video calling it a “monopod grass retention swing”…or some ridiculous foolishness like that…and extend the knife and drop to a prone position stabbing it into the ground and fire a few really fast rounds and talk about how amazingly sturdy and completely different it is compared to past technology…or some banter crap

You KNOW some gear queers will comment how amazing it is to their prone shooting platform….lol

  19. Greg says:

    TAT3D.com eh? Oh the irony.

Tat is the British term for cheap junk.

  20. Mike says:

My first thought was of a private punching on through his femoral with his sweet new grip-knife….. This thing just screams “Safety Brief Required”!

    • Sean says:

I used to try an imagine what happened (in the cases that we didn’t know), what led to this NEW safety brief. Truth was often far more hilarious than fiction.
