I get hands on this Tuesday…wait out

  2. Stan says:

The chance of a similar model to this being sold by Savage is great news. Hopefully it doesn’t cost too much. The Anschutz target rifles that dominate that sector are out of many people’s price range these days.

  3. Jim says:

It will be interesting to see if all that makes it to cadet detachments…

    • Jim says:

Well the Plano case isn’t, that going to be held at the Bn Stores and a slip case procured, the stand is looking to be replaced by the same bipod used on the 7.62 Full bore Cadet Target Rifle, the slings aren’t very impressive and we’ve suggested that they too are replaced withe the single point sling as per the full bore rifle, the rear sight looks and feels flimsy and there’s no detent position or indication for the correct position of the fore sight…

I like the tripod rest, is it available separately?

    • Jim says:

The tripod is very nice, useful too, just a pity that it seems like they will be withdrawn from the user units.
