      The downward-facing pockets are for caltrops and oil slicks 😉

        You guys are wrong, its obviously for easy access to your dip, spit/piss bottle, snacks and inflight entertainment (skin mag and/or smart phone.tablet) while you’re rigged for jump.

    It’s so you can access full size items without having to lift up the pouch on top that’s also fully loaded. Un broken down ration packs (Some confused people for whatever reason leave them in the bag).
    I don’t really agree with anything being upside down but it does have merit for non MEI’s.

    Paladin make good packs.

    If you visit their website you’d see all the variants and that you an custom order your pack with whatever pouch orientation and placement you can imagine.
