Holding out hoping for an Alpine variant!

  2. Alan says:

I guess I have to be the one to say it then…

That’s got to be the most god-awful ugly pack on the market,
If it were a military pack, I wouldn’t say a thing, as usage trump looks every time, but as a civilian EDC pack, I’m sorry, but looks are a consideration. This is just a fabric box, with straps…not much thought or effort invested, and, I guess they figure their name will carry them through…?

Time to get some new brains in the ‘think tank’, S.O. tech. Your last few offering have been flat.

    • Warren says:

I would have to disagree. I think the angle they are going for here is a budget pack. According to the post, it’s a USA made pack and it’s 99 bucks. Not many offerings out there for that price and something manufactured in the states.

What does your product catalog look like?

    • Joe says:

Alan the type of guy who wants the perfect pack for $50 and a lifetime warranty.

..You could always just make your own? Just my .02

    • Riceball says:

It definitely doesn’t look like much, I’ll agree with that. But that’s just the outside, and truth be told, do you really need a ton of MOLLE straps all over the outside along with another compartment or two like other tactical style packs? If they offered it in solid colors, even tactical ones, then it would probably make for a great pack for those who want an everyday pack that doesn’t scream tactical.

  3. Mike says:

It reminds me of a Goruck pack.

    • Joe says:

Man, the classic assault pack was created before GoRuck was even an idea let alone a company. GoRuck COPIED the assault pack and slapped a $400 pricetag on it.

    • SSD says:

The thing is, Goruck packs remind me of everyone else’s.

  4. DEEBEES says:

I lIke it. I like the Tropic color best, and i like the go pouches that fit in them. Very useful. I was looking at their site and it looks like it might go back to the $130 price. Imma have to pick on up on my next paycheck.
Go ahead S.O.TECH… keep it up.
