Ft Bragg Warfighter Expo – LBT 6094 Weight Training Vest

For years, folks have been purchasing LBT 6094 Plate Carriers and placing weight plates in the hard armor plate pockets for physical conditioning. Obviously, this results in shifting and isn’t the best solution. That’s why LBT came up with this training vest.

Based on the popular 6094, it is made from four-way stretch. The strap system accommodates the 5-25 lbs plates you find in your gym, with straps front and back rather than some special plate or worse yet, your issue plates.

This is absolutely brilliant. I’ll be buying 2 of these.

Wouldn’t make more sense just to buy a piece of foam, cut it into the shape of a plate and then cut a circle in the foam to insert the weight into that.

Ok Steve, you go do that and then send it in to SSD so we can all laugh at your handiwork. Go ahead, we’ll wait.

I like it, however I would recommend a non-tactical color like blue (for training) that will not cause panic when you are seen running in the local park with it on.

yes, this would be a great to slowly increase weight without buying multiple vests. Just add weight from your weight set.

  4. Any idea what pricing would look like?

Maybe this is easier than deploying with 50lb weight vest? I always stuck an extra pair on steel plates into a slick carrier… cant remember how much that weighed. But hey, I’m fat now anyway.

Oh how much Fruity Rudy would have loved having these back in his day…

  7. I second the previous poster’s comment about non-tactical colors. I only have bumper plates, but this looks like a good piece of kit for those who have iron plates in their workout area.

I will definitely pick one up. I would love to see one done in the Navy blue cordura they used on the go-bags.

When, where, and how much? Also, black or solid green please

Has anyone heard when these will be in stock?
