In my school – Woodland BDU and Tiger-stripe are way cool-old-school.
As for MultiCam® – like it a helluva LOT more than CADPAT….
As for this picture – everything about that vintage image is massively cool!!
Thank you for this post, SSD!!!
OMG I want a rifle and a hat like those in the photo
Back when Zoomie tiger stripes were cool
Tigers are out. They were retro cool when woodlands were in. Now multicam is out. Woodlands are the new retro cool.
Woodlands are the new tigers
Exactly my sentiments, Bill.
I find myself reaching to my old woodland fatigues recently more than ever.
I seem to have struck multicam-fatigue. Can’t even look at it anymore…it’s everywhere.
Negative. Tiger Stripes will always equal badass. Woodlands are like 90s retro. Cool, but a fad.
Some dude with his faced painted up hiding out in the woods like Jason with a bolo knife and a CAR-15 is timeless.
And this is coming from a guy who loves his old sunfaded, cook white BDUs
Those who are really cool rock ERDL. End of story.
M-81 close second 🙂
old school cool…..
OSC /Old School Cool
Wow, great pic. Did the picture have any annotations saying who that was? I knew an old VN USAF dog handler and wonder if it could be him.
No, it didn’t
Is that Nemo? He was my enlisted heritage topic for ALS many, many moons ago.
Those sentry dog handlers had a brass pair. Basically a one man/one pooch LP/OP way out on the perimeter.
Not Nemo. See pic: http://www.vspa.com/k9/nemo.htm
