Still don’t understand why they don’t make pistol mag pouches that mount on the side.

    • Frank Howell says:

When we were designing FASTmag Pistol, one of our goals was to make it work with as many ammunition types as possible. By orienting the rounds “Bullets Out”, it was possible to accommodate nearly everything out there.

We understand that for some operators this would mean retraining. However, the benefit to the community of near “universal” compatibility was given priority.

Maybe I am missing something as I have not personally used a 6.8 SPC gun, but why do they require a different holder? 6.8 and 5.56 mags both fit into an AR-15 lower and have the same outside dimensions, so what is it about the 6.8 SPC mags that make them need a different product?

    • tcba_joe says:

Sounds like they’re for the Six8 magpul mags for the LWRC guns.

      • Justin Kiger says:

Correct, the 6.8 pmags are roughly 0.1″ wider than the 5.56 pmags. It isn’t a huge difference but for something that is precision fit, it is significant.
