I have a hard time caring about Helikon-Tex when they say WildWood pattern was supposed to be out a year ago and they still can’t say when it will be out.

I should have added that I also asked them why they make pants in long, but not shirts and they said more people need long pants than shirts. One can’t really take a comment like that very seriously. I know they are an innovative highly regarded company with a lot of cool stuff that I and others like a great deal, but they have really frustrated me with this issue and the whole WildWood mess.

The WildWood delays have been caused by the fabric printers. Its very frustrating for all of us, but it’s not something that they could control.

That said, there are already one of two products out in the pattern – and the rest will definitely be available very soon. You will see their big announcement about WildWood product availability before the end of this calendar year.

Lawrence, is this the same for Metropolis, a fabric printers delay? Any update on release please?

        • Lawrence says:

Yes. Working with a new printer overseas, and its been a lengthy process for them to get the pattern colors and print settings set just right. The NyCo MetroPolis is complete now though, and 500D will be along in a few more weeks.

Sounds a LONG & FRUSTRATING time of it for you and Dom but very happy to hear it’s finally coming together. I can’t wait to see whats being produced so i can get some on my back this winter.
