POF USA Wins Rifle of the Year from the Industry Choice Awards for the Third Year in a Row

(06/18/2019) Phoenix, Arizona – And the winner is… Patriot Ordnance Factory is proud to announce taking home the Rifle of the Year award from the 2019 Firearms Industry Choice Awards for their Revolution DI rifle. POF-USA was honored to attend and thanks everyone involved in the awards process, as well as congratulating the other winners.

The Revolution DI (Direct Impingement) shares features, advancements, and technology of the prior award winning Revolution PD (Piston Driven) with one distinct difference, its operation. The direct impingement operation allows for a smaller profile handguard, lighter weight, and 9 positions of adjustment thanks to the DIctator gas block.

POF-USA broke from the industry status quo by making an AR15 that shoots .308. It is important to note that the Revolution DI is not an AR10, or even a small frame AR10. The Revolution DI is the same size as an AR15. The Revolution DI is built on the unique and fully ambidextrous Gen 4 lower, produced with 100% American made raw materials and coatings, and state-of-the-art technology. Like another award winning POF-USA rifle, the Renegade+, the upper receiver is engineered around their unique heat sink barrel nut, 9-position adjustable DIctator gas block, a match-grade barrel, and Renegade M-LOK rail with 4 built in QD sling mount points.

POF-USA is proud to continue leading the MSR market with their feature-packed ultimate fighting machines.

How curious that a gun no one outside “gun reviewers” talks about, no one has shown to get better than 1MOA, has a fairly questionable chamber thickness by design, and generates no talk on forums keep winning “rifle of the year”.

Almost as if Industry Choice Awards is kinda like JD Power and Associates awards that GM wins every year.

I’m kind of interested in one, but the CLEAR AND OBVIOUS lack of real people using them puts me off.

This is why I never trust any review in a main stream gun magazine…they are all paid advertisements.

if you like the idea of POF but want something you can find real reviews about and a bunch of respected people using publicly, consider Primary Weapons Systems. 😉

That’s because we the people who have them dont brag about it. I have the piston version, love it by the way. And shoot out to 1000 yards all the time with it. I may lack some publication skills but I can and will put a bullet on a man sized target at 1000 yards at will.

The comments about nobody seeing sub-MOA from a POF rifle are ridiculous. My P308 Edge AR-10 SPR (18.5″ barrel) shot .6 MOA right out of the box with handloads. There are several POF owners who shoot at the range I frequent, none of them have had accuracy or feed issues with their examples. Well done POF, my P308 is a keeper.

Well I am SOOO sorry Kyle that the “experts” on the internet forums dont talk about POF-USA enough for you to feel comfortable in buying one. I know my THREE POF rifles are plenty accurate. And to complain about A COMBAT FIGHTING RIFLE, not being sub MOA is ridiculous. I would really like to know what AR-15 you own that consistantly out of the box from a big manufacture Shoots sub moa, not Daniel Defense, not KAC, NOT LMT, NOT LWRC. But one thing POF-USA does have is a 1MOA GUARANTEE. and they stand behind it. If the rifle dont shot 1 moa they take it back and fix it for free. Also have you looked for reviews on POf rifles?? There are TONS OF THEM!

I owned a factory new POF 5.56 upper for 6 years and it was excellent for my purpose but has its faults. It was 100% reliable with brass cased ammo and shot sub MOA with quality ammo as well as some brands of the cheap stuff (federal 55 grain Walmart bulk pack). My upper was made prior to the E2 chambers and didn’t handle steel cases ammo well. I don’t recall ever having a failure with brass cased ammo of all variety’s. It was also fairly beefy and heavy. I ended up PCSing to CA and decided to sell it instead of neuter the rifle. I plan to get another once I return to a free state for what it’s worth. I think POF makes solid guns and deserves the praise. That upper burned through thousands of rounds training, shooting 3 gun and hog hunting without any noticeable accuracy degradation.

The .308s do not like steel case. Removed many stuck cases that had part of the rim ripped off. Brass 0 issues.

Have had this issue on other 308s also, PWS included, so it is not specific to POF. Sort of think it has to do with the very small taper of the 308 case and higher pressures combined with known differences between steel and brass when fired.

On the other hand 7.62×39 piston pof will put the cheapest steel cased ammo in a fist sized group at 300 yards with a non magnified dot and has never hiccuped on 1000s of rounds of the stuff.
