Good morning and Happy MATBOCK Monday,

Weighing in at only 14 ounces the Berserker Plate Carrier is made from MATBOCK Ghost Material. This makes the carrier extramely lightweight, tough, 100% waterproof and quickly transfers heat away from the body keeping the operator cooler.

Carrier includes:

– Internal dual comms pouches
– Side armor plate pockets
– Shoulder pads
– Integrated reinforced drag handle
– 4-way stretch material around the front and back armor pockets allows for variety of plate cuts, like swimmer cut and ESAPI.

    Looks nice, but why the $500 price tag?

      Mostly the proprietary Ghost materials it’s constructed with, but it’s also made in America by Americans with Berry compliant goods.

      It also comes with 2 side armor pouches and 2 comms pouches. This is price competitive to others in our space.

    A friend of mine bought one after seeing it a catalog being passed around…he only used it for maybe 2 weeks before ditching it for a few reasons – his had an odd number of molle columns (7 across) so his pouches were offset instead of centered, the laser cut material wasn’t tight to his plates so pouches sagged a bit, and the cummerbund is very floppy and would get twisted when putting it on.

    YMMV – this was his experience.
