While I agree D30 is not made for cold, unless it’s not on your head, it should be pretty warm and therefore soft.

The protective material is XRD. The skull caps are patented and we can customize them to make them work in any situation.
We have a pro cap designed with the NFL that is more breathable than the regular cap.
It should be fine in the cold it fits easily under a hat or helmet.
