Raven Concealment Systems Launches 2 New VanGuard 2 Models for SIG P320 Pistols

Raven Concealment Systems announced today the release of two new models of their popular minimalist holster, the VanGuard 2 for use with the SIG MHS and P320 X-Carry .

The first new model fits both models of the Modular Handgun System, the M17 and M18. This model features a two-tone color scheme, with a black overhook and modular claw, which contrasts nicely with the trigger guard cover that is color-matched to the Coyote Tan frame of the M17/M18 family. These M17/M18 holsters are available here: a.brmc.link/rcsp320

The second new model fits all P320 X-Frame pistols, and has a black trigger guard cover to allow it to be easily distinguishable from its MHS-compatible brother.  These X-Frame holsters are available here:  a.brmc.link/rcsp320x

This project was the result of close collaboration between the design teams at both SIG SAUER and Raven Concealment Systems. This collaboration allowed RCS to provide support for the entire diverse family of P320 pistol variants with just two variants of VG2.

Combined with launching these two new VG2s, RCS is also debuting their innovative new modular claw for the VG2 product family. This new claw is much more streamlined than its predecessor, and can be configured for both left- and right-hand as well as offering two different options for ride-height.

The collaboration between SIG and RCS extends even to the release of the new products, as Sig is participating front-and-center in the retail launch of these concealed-carry holsters by being the first to offer the VG2 Advanced Kits (which include the new modular claw) for sale on their new e-commerce site.  By clicking HERE you will find all of the RCS products currently being offered by SIG.

“As a holster manufacturer, it was an exciting experience to work so closely and directly with a pistol manufacturer – especially one as large and influential as SIG SAUER – to bring these holsters to market. Unveiling our new modular claw — in conjunction with the debut of the VG2 for the MHS — just seemed like the perfect opportunity to introduce the world to this innovative product,” said Michael Goerlich, owner of Raven Concealment Systems.  “The support we received from the Sig design staff made it possible to produce these holsters to such high standards, and the e-commerce team at SIG helped us ensure that the whole Sig customer base had access to these brand-new products on day one.”

These new products supporting the SIG pistol line are available today on the SIG website as well as the RCS website, and in the coming days, through the entire RCS dealer network.

I was beginning to think these guys has faded into Oblivion.

They used to be makers of some of the most unique and high quality holsters, great variety and were customizable for any setup. Recently it seems all they make are mass produced cookie cutter holsters with little innovation. I wish they would get back to their roots.

So if I understand your statement correctly, your position is that our new products — which are designed using CAD software by a team of experts in firearms accessory design, and are then precision-molded using injection molds we design and make in-house, and which are are stronger, lighter, more feature-rich, *and* which are in-stock for immediate shipment at all times — are LESS innovative than the Kydex holsters we were making by hand in a residential basement using toaster ovens and foam presses and which always had a 16-18 week lead time?? Could you explain to me how that is?

This sort of comment is like saying that 4K flat-screen televisions aren’t as innovative as your old 1988 Zenith because TV manufacturers stopped offering burled mahogany consoles.

I’ll be sure to let the whole team know that their combined efforts these past few months failed to live up to your expectations.
