“Queen of the Mile” is a new documentary-style series created by firearms journalist Sean Utley.
The premise is that five amateur female shooters get the opportunity to participate in three days of training from a former Marine Scout Sniper before taking a shot at a target a mile out. Along the way, the competitors are faced with challenges which offer additional attempts at the target. The hitch is that they only have those three days to complete everything.
The series is presented on the Precision 4 Life channel.
These “A women does something” posts are ridiculously patronizing and deeply sexist. All these activities would be absolutely nothing to write about if 5 dudes would do the same thing. But it’s women, so we have to trophy them around. Strong, attractive, empowered women doing the most mundane activity. Go Kweens!
How about 5 people go shooting? Oh right, this wouldn’t generate any buzz with the male audience, so the reason they watch videos like this is not because of the activity itself, but because attractive women are performing it.
And your point is?
You still havent given up on understanding feminism? Its the “Men are always wrong” movement.
I see your point but in this case I think you’re wrong; it’s an interesting premise whatever the gender, and the hardware is the money shot.
Mhhhh…. MDT sponsored or why are there only MDT rifles? :/
