I just received my powered U94 PTT and antenna from DISCO32 yesterday and I am impressed. I emailed in advance to ask if the items I was ordering would work for my radio (Baofeng UV5R-TP) and got an email back under 20 minutes later confirming they would work and reminding me to get the adapter kit for the antenna (I would have forgotten). Top notch customer service, lightning fast shipping, solid competent product.

I went and grabbed an OEM Nexus U94 we use to make PTT clamp/covers and only the downlead to the radio is different. I use dual-com Sordins as my hearing protection when hunting with others who are unsuppressed and it’ll be nice to not have to feed an earbud into the gelcup when we want to split up and stay in touch!

I have successfully run Baofeng A58 and Yaesu/Vertex VX7R radios with Peltor Comtac III Dual Com, TCI Liberator II and MSA Sordin Dual Comm headsets. The grease that makes it all work are the Disco32 amplified PTTs that act as mic impedance matching networks between the Military Grade mics and the civilian grade radios. This is thei right stuff and made of the same tough materials used to make the military issue PTTs.

If you are tired of playing with toy-like commercial and Amateur headsets that break the first time you hit your headset on a tree branch, get some Disco32 gear and up your communication accessory game.
