Shotgun envelope
Same
I’ve always called it a shotgun envelope but, the civilians I work with refer to it as a Cheesy.
That’s a new one.
USAF (ret) here, always called/heard it called a holey joe.
Also USAF retired, called them thousand milers.
Retired USN. Always heard and called it “Guard Mail”
For over 30 years in the Bureau it’s a “Cheesy.”
In Canada it is called “Thousand Miler!”
My wife was Canadian Forces, and she had never heard the term. Thats what I called them in the USAF.
Shotgun
Theres a blast from the past! Definitely used these in USNR, circa 90’s. Can’t remember our nick-name……Lol
We called them inter office envelope. Not as exciting.
Glad I’m not the only one… Pretty damn boring in retrospect.
