Pretty amazing that companies are still producing Multicam Black gear when it’s been proven by multiple entities to be an ineffective camo pattern – but I guess those without that knowledge still drive demand.

What are you talking about? MC Black is officially designed not to conceal anything:
“It projects a distinctly authoritative presence appropriate for domestic operations. MultiCam Black™ is designed to complement an officer’s existing equipment and present a sharp, professional image for top-tier law enforcement units.” thats what they say on Multicam website

Okay so when big Army ran ineffective camo ( though UCP looks surprisingly good in places like NYC, grandma’s couch, and rock quarries) I was mad. It cost a lot of money and covered MANY MANY MANY people. It was expected to camouflage people and it mostly sucked at it.

When individuals or small groups, especially those who don’t require the pattern to hide them or in fact are choosing it to stand out, look cool, or “because I can and they can’t” buy it? Yeah man, play ball. It looks cool and that’s enough.

    Nice!

As an amateur gear maker/modifier, I have been patiently waiting (over two years now?) for this to finally come out.

The jacquard woven patterns are perfect on gear with high abrasion use: adjustable pack straps, belts, weapon slings, watch strap, etc.

The printed webbing patterns quickly wear off, in these applications.

How do you obtain articles from Murdock, though? I didn’t know they sell direct to consumer…

Any news on Multicam Tropic or Arid? Printed MC Tropic looks terrible when worn off.
