This doesn’t surprise me this company makes innovative quality stuff.

I can’t find that Handguard on the Geissele site, I wonder what the reason was for CBP to request a non standard Handguard from Geissele…unless thats going to be their new normal? Maybe a new government requirement to award contracts to only black, non-binary and not straight and it went too far?

Handguard looks new, but I doubt it’ll get much interest outside of the contract… the whole rifle screams ‘I just bought my first AR’.

Interesting that the handguard only has Mlok on the 3, 6, and 9. I don’t see anti rotation tags so I’d assume it’s a notched rail/upper.

I wonder if Geissele has developed an ambidextrous lower receiver yet…the one pictured appears to be mil-spec which is odd considering the trend in the market.

What happens to the BCM upgraded Colts from a few years ago?

Nice to get new automatic weapons. The question is whether they can , or will, actually use all this firepower to end Cartel drug & human smuggling over our WIDE OPEN border. And if they did, how long before Biden & Myorkas indicts them. They don’t use the firearms they have now to stop anyone who wants to waltz over what used to be our border.

This seems like a goofy configuration. The handguard is short, ugly, and lacking four rows of M-Lok, the Hogue grip is mediocre, that BCM stock has a really bad QD sling swivel design, the controls are basic, and it has kind of ungainly aesthetic proportions. Wondering who spec’d this out and what merits it won on. Maybe cost?
